In Belize, weather conditions change quickly — especially during the rainy season (June–November). While most tours run year-round, water-based and jungle experiences are more sensitive to rain, river levels, or storm activity. As your guide, I’ll always prioritize your safety, comfort, and enjoyment.
💧 Water-Based Tours: Rescheduling & Safety
- Tours like cave tubing, river kayaking, waterfalls, and snorkeling are directly affected by rainfall and river conditions.
- If water levels are too high, too fast, or murky, we may:
- Reschedule for later in your trip
- Offer an alternative inland tour
- Cancel for safety and refund you per policy
- These decisions are based on live updates from rangers and locals on the ground — not just forecasts.
🌀 Hurricane Season Considerations
- From August to October, Belize enters peak hurricane season. Storm systems may:
- Cause flooding or road closures
- Render jungle or marine sites inaccessible for several days
- Lead to national emergency responses
In the case of any hurricane watch or warning, all tours will be immediately paused or rescheduled as needed. You will not be charged for cancellations related to storms or official closures.
