This full-day adventure takes you off the beaten path through lush tropical forest, passing rivers, waterfalls, and wildlife on the way to this breathtaking archaeological site. You’ll explore massive plazas, stelae, causeways, and climb Caana, the “Sky Palace” — the tallest man-made structure in Belize.

Your day starts early with a scenic drive through the Mountain Pine Ridge, passing small farms, forest hills, and checkpoints before reaching the heart of the jungle.

At Caracol, your guide leads you through ceremonial plazas, elite residences, and towering temples. You’ll learn about ancient warfare, astronomy, and the powerful rulers of Caracol’s golden age, including Lord Kan II. Expect a rich mix of archaeology, jungle ecology, and quiet awe.
